  7. Open Advantage 3270-SNA allows a UNIX workgroup or workstation to function as a
  8. 327x controller and attached peripherals, connected to an IBM mainframe or
  9. front-end processor using standard IBM SNA. Standard, fully emulated features
  10. include 3278/9 Models 2, 3, 4, 5 A and B terminals (with seven-color and
  11. extended highlighting support); cursor select; function keys; program access
  12. keys; editing keys; extensive Native Language Support (NLS); session pooling;
  13. and host printing directed to a physical printer, spooler or file or system
  14. command

  16. Other features include browse, multiple host sessions at each terminal,
  17. suspend/resume (exit to a command shell without breaking the host session),
  18. ScreenToFile (stores screen images to a file), and ScreenToPrinter (sends
  19. screen images to printer). It also includes INDile file transfer facilities
  20. and a proprietary API for integrating applications with 3270
  21.  
  22. Communications to and from the host are managed by Rabbit's Open Advantage SNA
  23. Gateway, which supports high-speed SDLC, QLLC/X.25, and 802.2/Token Ring
  24. connections. Connection to the host is made via RS-232 cable over dial-up,
  25. leased lines, and X.25 packet networks at line speeds up to 64 Kbit per second;
  26. and Token Rink LANs at up to 16 Mbps.
